Who We Are

Kill The Deck is a done-for-you social media reporting service operated by Verti LLC, doing business as Kill The Deck (“Kill The Deck,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through killthedeck.com and our service, how we use it, and the choices you have.

If you have questions about this policy or your information, email us at hey@killthedeck.com.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. This includes your name and email address when you subscribe to our emails, send us your quiz answers, or book a call, along with anything you choose to tell us about your business, your clients, and the reports you send. If you become a client, it also includes billing and contact details.

Booking details. When you book a call, our scheduling provider, Cal.com, collects your name, email address, the time you choose, and any notes you add.

Report data. When you are a client, you connect social media accounts through a link we send you. We use the analytics data from those accounts, such as followers, reach, engagement, and post performance, to build and deliver your reports. We only collect this data from accounts you authorize.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we and our analytics provider receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you view, and the site you came from.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to run the service and the website. That means building and sending your reports, responding to your messages, scheduling calls, sending the emails you signed up for, understanding how people use our site so we can improve it, keeping the site secure, and meeting our legal obligations.

We send marketing emails only to people who subscribed. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

We share information with service providers that help us operate, and they may use it only to provide their services to us. These include our website host and form handler (Netlify), our scheduling tool (Cal.com), our analytics provider (Google Analytics), and the email and business tools we use to communicate with you and deliver reports.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale, or similar business transaction.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure traffic and understand how visitors use the site. It uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages visited and approximate location. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Our scheduling embed from Cal.com may also set its own cookies when it loads on the page.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide the service and for the purposes in this policy. Email subscribers stay on our list until they unsubscribe. Client report data is kept while you are a client and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. We may keep some records longer where the law requires.

Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop emailing you, and you can disconnect your social media accounts from our access at any time through each platform’s settings.

Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Spain, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, such as the right to receive a copy of your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email hey@killthedeck.com. We will respond within the time the law requires.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure connections and limiting access to the people who need it. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where Your Information Is Processed

We are based in the United States and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by law.

Children

Our website and service are meant for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If we make a significant change, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
